Kidzone's Response to Coronavirus
We take preventing the spread of infectious diseases through proper sanitation very seriously. We therefore have established the Facility Cleaning and Disinfecting Program (FC-DP). This program involves preventive practices, active disinfecting, and compulsory cleaning of all areas within the facility. These measures are designed to ensure the lowest possibility of the spreading of infectious diseases by following CDC Guidelines while using EPA Registered Antimicrobial Products.
Let’s take a look at some of the measures:
DAILY DISINFECTING of… all areas and items, such as all of our mats, carpets, doorknobs, water fountains, electronic devices, and so on. Everything will also be disinfected between birthday parties.
Also taking place is COMPULSORY CLEANING such as Daily Carpet cleaning, daily floor cleaning, weekly scrubbing of mats, - this scrubbing is in ADDITION to the daily disinfecting.
FC-DP PRACTICES include making available Hand Sanitizer accessible to all clients, members, staff, and guests. Also FC-DP Practices include sending students and staff who present fever and/or respiratory infection symptoms home immediately. This goes on to include students and staff found to be with other very contagious aliments.
But there are also measures we encourage our clients, members, staff, and guests to abide by:
1. Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with a tissue or the crook of your arm.
2. Wash your hands often with soap and water.
3. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
4. If you have a present fever and/or respiratory infection symptoms, stay home from the facility.
We are confident that with these strong measures, including our daily disinfecting and compulsory cleaning, our students will not only remain safe at our facility at this time, but during any other period in the future. As these measures are to stay in place and be functional throughout every period of the year, indefinitely.
As long as we are all responsible, we will remain happy and healthy. Thank you.
